As I wrote on the Dfinity Reddit list, this action means that ICP is going to be the most centralized major blockchain for the foreseeable future. What percentage of ICP is held collectively between the Dfinity Foundation, the ICA and the newly staked neurons? Far over 50%, I assume. What is even the point of having us follow other neurons like cycle-dao when a small bunch of people will hold most of the voting power for the next decade at least?

That's a great question... I'll write a post to explain where we are at with decentralization.

Jeez. I was hoping we would have enough time to chip enough ICP to try and disperse the influence of these bigger players in the NNS.

how can we not see all Neurons? Its beeing stated that such info is open to anyone.

It is open to everyone, but you need to query a neuron by id and the possible ids are so numerous that it would take a long time to query each possible id string to see if a neuron exists with that id. An index would resolve that

One thing to consider is that the 15M ICP from unclaimed genesis accounts was staked and voting even though they were unclaimed. Based on vesting distributions of genesis accounts, they probably had about 18-20M voting power. Hence the increase to 30M voting power only accounts for about 10-12M of the new voting power.
